Game Overview

Diamond Ball III is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes bouncing a ball against blocks feel like an event. The first time I fired it up, I expected another Breakout clone—but then the gravity flipped, my paddle started glowing, and suddenly I was ricocheting this hyperactive ball through a grid of neon bricks like some kind of digital pinball wizard.

The soundtrack alone is worth the trip—all pulsing synths that sound like they were ripped from an old sci-fi VHS. And those power-ups? Half the fun is figuring out which ones are secretly traps (looking at you, "ball multiplier" that turns the screen into absolute chaos). It’s simple, sure, but there’s something weirdly hypnotic about chasing just one more level before quitting.

If you’ve got a soft spot for DOS-era oddities or just want something satisfying to zone out with, this one’s a time capsule worth cracking open.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
