Diner Dash on the DS is that perfect kind of handheld game where you’re juggling way too many things at once and loving every second of it. You play as Flo, running around her little diner trying to seat customers, take orders, serve food, and clear tables before people get impatient and storm out. The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s easy—then suddenly you’ve got four tables full of grumpy customers, a pile of dirty dishes, and Flo’s tiny legs can’t move fast enough.

The pixel art has this cute, cartoony vibe, and the customers all have their own little personalities (the business guy tips well but gets mad fast, the old lady takes forever to eat). It’s one of those games where you’ll fail a level, swear you’re done, then immediately restart because you know exactly where you messed up.
