I picked up Disney's Tarzan Untamed for the GameCube back in 2001, a game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It was a time when licensed platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in, offering a straightforward action adventure based on the film. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave you more of that jungle world to play in.

You control Tarzan, swinging on vines, surfing down rapids on logs, and fighting off leopards and crocodiles with basic combos. The main goal is to rescue baby apes kidnapped by a poacher, which involves navigating through linear, screen by screen levels. You also collect film reels scattered around the stages, and the game mixes in occasional racing segments against Terk. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty is manageable, mostly about timing your swings and jumps. It feels like a simple, energetic romp through a familiar setting.
