Game Overview

Doom on SNES is rough, loud, and somehow still terrifying even with those chunky pixels. You wake up on Phobos surrounded by dead marines and demon growls—no time to think, just grab that pistol and start blasting. The controls feel a little stiff compared to the PC version, but the atmosphere? Totally there. Pinkies charging at you in narrow corridors, that iconic shotgun thump, and those eerie groans from somewhere in the dark. Hell, even the music’s been squeezed into the cartridge and still slaps.

Yeah, it’s missing a few levels and the framerate chugs when things get crazy, but sneaking around corners with rockets ready never gets old. Just don’t expect to sleep well after the first time a cacodemon floats into view.
