Game Overview

Doom 2 on GBA is a stripped-down but still intense version of the classic. The first thing you notice is how cramped everything feels—smaller screen, tinier sprites, but the demons still come at you fast. That super shotgun is a lifesaver, though the controls take some getting used to.

I remember one level where I got cornered by a revenant in a narrow hallway, those homing missiles making it almost impossible to dodge. The Arch-Viles are even worse—you hear that eerie laugh, and suddenly half your health is gone.

It's impressive they got Doom 2 running on the GBA at all, even if some levels feel darker and harder to navigate. The core loop is still there—find keys, flip switches, survive. Just don't expect it to play as smoothly as the PC version.
