Game Overview

Double Dunk on the Atari 2600 is basically streetball with pixels. Two-on-two, half-court chaos where every possession feels like a scramble—lose focus for a second, and that easy layup turns into a turnover. The smaller court makes everything more intense, especially when someone’s breathing down your neck mid-shot.

You can tweak the rules, like turning 3-pointers or fouls on/off (I usually leave both on for maximum chaos). And yeah, you can even change the team colors, which is weirdly satisfying when you make your squad neon pink just because. It’s simple, but the way plays unfold keeps it unpredictable—one game you’re sinking long shots, the next you’re grinding out messy rebounds. Feels like an arcade cabinet crammed into a cartridge.
