Dragonball Z in arcade form is exactly as chaotic and over-the-top as you'd hope. You pick your fighter—Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, whoever—and immediately get thrown into these ridiculous, screen-filling brawls where energy blasts and flying kicks are flying everywhere. The controls are simple enough (punch, kick, charge up your ki) but pulling off a Kamehameha at just the right moment still feels awesome.

It’s got that classic arcade vibe where everything’s slightly exaggerated—characters yell their attack names, health bars drain way too fast, and the announcer sounds like he’s having a meltdown. If you’ve ever wanted to relive those DBZ battles without the 10-episode buildup, this is the closest you’ll get. Just try not to button-mash *too* hard.
