Duke: Nuclear Winter is an official expansion pack for Duke Nukem 3D, blending the series’ signature action with a festive twist. Set one year after the original game, Duke receives a distress call from the North Pole: aliens, aided by the "Femenist Elven Militia," have brainwashed Santa Claus. Players battle through seven new arctic-themed maps, facing off against icy variants of classic enemies and fresh foes while rescuing Christmas. The expansion introduces new winter-themed artwork and weapons, maintaining the fast-paced, irreverent gameplay that defined Duke Nukem 3D.Released in 1996, Nuclear Winter stands out as a playful, holiday-themed addition to the franchise, offering a shorter but memorable experience.
