Game Overview

Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home is exactly what you'd hope for from a Game Boy Color adaptation—loud, messy, and full of that signature Duke charm. Within seconds, you're fishtailing the General Lee down dirt roads, kicking up dust while Rosco's useless cop car spins out behind you. The controls take a minute to get used to (that rear-wheel slide is brutal at first), but once you get the hang of it, there's something weirdly satisfying about nailing a jump over a creek just as the dixie horn blares.

It's got all the dumb fun of the show—ramshackle barns to crash through, Boss Hogg's cronies to outrun, and those ridiculous long jumps where the car somehow survives. Graphics are about what you'd expect from a late-era GBC racer, but the sprite work on the General Lee popping a wheelie mid-air never gets old. Just don't expect Forza-level handling; this is all about chaotic, slide-into-every-corner energy. Daisy's gonna yell at you either way, so might as well go full throttle.
