Play Earl Weaver Baseball II Online

Pick your team, call the shots from the dugout, and try not to get ejected arguing with the ump—pitchers will outsmart you, your shortstop makes diving grabs, and the pixelated crowd goes wild when you nail a walk-off homer.

Game Overview

Earl Weaver Baseball II is one of those old-school baseball sims that somehow still feels fresh. You start by picking your team—I always went with the Orioles, obviously—and then it’s straight into the dugout, making calls like you’re the actual manager. The AI pitchers actually outthink you sometimes, and if you get too cocky with the ump, you might just get tossed. Classic Earl.

The animations are simple but weirdly satisfying, especially when your shortstop dives for a liner or your cleanup hitter smashes one into the stands. And yeah, the bench actually celebrates when you pull off a comeback. Little details like that make it feel alive, even with the pixelated graphics.

If you’ve ever wanted to micromanage a full season of ’90s baseball without the bloat of modern sims, this is the one. Just don’t blame me when you lose three hours to a rain-delayed doubleheader.
