Game Overview
Epic is an action-packed space flight simulator set in a desperate race for survival. With Earth’s sun on the verge of a supernova, humanity flees in a massive fleet, only to face the hostile Rexxons in deep space. The game challenges players to complete eight distinct levels—ranging from cosmic dogfights to planetary assaults—each with strict time limits and critical objectives.Released for MS-DOS, Epic stood out for its impressive graphics and cinematic flair, featuring cutscenes scored by Holst’s Planet Suite. While its seven-level campaign was criticized for brevity, the game’s varied missions and intense action made it a memorable entry in early space combat simulators.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
