Play Epic Online
You dodge asteroids, bomb alien bases, and barely keep humanity alive as the sun explodes—all while Holst’s music blares over frantic dogfights and kamikaze runs. MS-DOS never felt this intense.

Game Overview
Epic throws you straight into the chaos—Earth's dying, the sun's about to explode, and you're scrambling to protect the last human fleet from these alien jerks called the Rexxons. One minute you're dodging asteroids, the next you're bombing enemy bases on some weird planet, all while the clock's ticking down. The pressure's real.
For an MS-DOS game, the graphics were wild at the time—those cutscenes with Holst's music blaring made it feel like some blockbuster space opera. Yeah, it's short (seven levels fly by), but each mission's so different you won't care. Dogfighting in zero-G, sneaking past patrols, even kamikaze runs—it never lets up. Just don't expect to relax.
Still holds up if you're into that old-school "sweaty palms and pixelated explosions" vibe.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
