Game Overview

Remember when superhero games were just pixels and punch combos? Fantastic Four on MS-DOS is exactly that—a clunky, charming relic where you bash robots as The Thing or awkwardly float around as Invisible Woman (her hitbox is... questionable). The sprites are tiny, the controls take some getting used to, and Doctor Doom’s lair looks like someone smeared green paint on graph paper. But there’s something weirdly endearing about watching Mr. Fantastic’s stretchy arms glitch through walls while Johnny Storm sets the entire screen on fire.

It’s definitely not smooth—enemies spawn out of nowhere, and sometimes Ben Grimm’s rocky fist just phases through bad guys. But if you grew up with comics where the dialogue was all “FLAME ON!” and villains monologued about cosmic cubes, this feels like digging up a weird, wonderful time capsule. Just don’t expect Arkham Asylum. Expect to yell at your keyboard when the Torch gets stuck on a platform again.

Still, beating up Mole Man’s goons with four friends on one keyboard? That’s a 90s kid’s weekend right there.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
