Final Bubble Bobble on the Sega Master System is one of those games that just feels right—especially if you’ve got a friend next to you. You play as Bub or Bob, those adorable little dinosaurs, blowing bubbles to trap enemies before jumping up to pop them. The Japanese version has its own quirks, like some exclusive levels that mix things up if you’re used to the arcade original.

The music’s still ridiculously catchy, and the bright, simple graphics make it easy to jump in. It’s not the deepest game, but that’s kind of the point—you’ll be laughing when one of you accidentally traps the other in a bubble or when the screen suddenly fills with fruit after clearing a stage. Definitely one of the better ways to kill an afternoon if you’re into retro co-op.
