Game Overview

If you're into Ghost in the Shell, this PSP shooter is a solid way to dive back into that cyberpunk world. You get to play as Motoko, Batou, Togusa, or Saito—each handles a little differently, so Motoko feels quick and precise while Batou’s more of a tank. And yeah, you can bring a Tachikoma along, which is half the fun—they’ve got their own quirks, like one being faster but weaker, another slower but packing serious firepower.

The story’s a new side mission where you’re chasing down stolen files about some old rebellion, so expect the usual mix of sneaky intel work and loud shootouts. It’s not groundbreaking, but the levels have that Section 9 vibe—dark alleys, corporate towers, the usual.

Multiplayer’s where things get chaotic. You can go full deathmatch with up to six players, either as the human(ish) crew or just Tachikomas duking it out. No mixing the two, though—pick a side and stick with it. It’s basic but weirdly fun when you’ve got friends with PSPs nearby.

Not the deepest shooter, but if you’re a fan of the series, it’s a decent way to waste an afternoon.
