GT Championship Racing on the GBA is one of those simple but satisfying top-down racers. The controls are tight, and the tracks feel just narrow enough to make weaving through traffic tense without being unfair.

I remember the first few races being deceptively easy, just nudging past other cars. Then suddenly, the AI starts getting aggressive, cutting corners and shoving you into barriers if you're not careful. The sense of speed is decent for a GBA game, especially when you hit a straightaway.

It's not the deepest racer, but GT Championship Racing has that "one more try" pull when you barely miss first place. The tracks could use more variety, though—after a while, they start blending together.
