Ever dug through old DOS games and found something so weird it’s kind of brilliant? Hick Town is that game—a pixelated, tongue-in-cheek take on small-town life where logic takes a backseat to sheer absurdity. You’ll spend your first ten minutes trying to reason with a guy who insists his prize pig is the mayor, or maybe bartering turnips for "mystery meat" at the general store. The graphics are rough in that nostalgic way, but the humor’s sharp enough to make up for it.

It’s not deep, but it’s got heart—and a surprising amount of chickens. If you miss when games were more about weird ideas than polish, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect the townsfolk to make any sense.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
