Game Overview

Hole-In-One Miniature Golf Deluxe! was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a bundle of titles released in the early 1990s. It was developed by Sierra On-Line, a company known for many adventure and puzzle games of that era. This title fit right in with the kind of accessible, straightforward entertainment that thrived on home computers before 3D graphics became standard.

You control a golf ball from an overhead perspective, aiming and adjusting power to navigate through imaginative, obstacle-filled courses. The main objective is simple: sink the ball in as few strokes as possible. Signature mechanics include ricocheting off bumpers, timing shots to avoid moving obstacles like spinning arms or gates, and reading the green's subtle slopes. The game starts gently but grows challenging quickly, especially on later courses with narrow paths and devious traps. It feels both methodical and a little unpredictable, like real mini golf, but with the added charm of low-resolution whimsy.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
