Play Illusion of Time (Germany) (Rev A) Online
You play as Will, a kid who screws up the world and has to rebuild it—spearing monsters, waking up continents, and stumbling into weird, sad stories along the way. The music and mood stick with you long after the SNES powers down.

Game Overview
Illusion of Time (or "Terranigma" if you're not in Germany) is one of those SNES RPGs that sticks with you. You play as Will, a troublemaking kid who accidentally unleashes an apocalypse—oops—and now has to fix the world before a comet finishes the job. The combat’s simple but satisfying, with this neat spear thrust move that feels way better than it should. And the way the world slowly rebuilds as you progress? Still gives me chills.
What really got me was the mood—it’s got this weird, dreamy vibe where you’re resurrecting continents and talking to sentient mountains. Also, the soundtrack slaps. Just don’t get too attached to the townsfolk; some of their side stories get dark fast. One of the few RPGs where I actually cared about putting the world back together instead of just grinding for loot.
