Play Illusion of Time (Germany) Online
Swing a flute like a weapon, morph into a glowing knight, and wander through eerie towns that feel like the world’s about to end—all while a comet looms overhead.

Game Overview
Illusion of Time (or Illusion of Gaia, depending on where you played it) is one of those SNES action-RPGs that sticks with you. You play as Will, a kid with weird psychic powers who gets dragged into this whole mess about stopping a comet from wiping out Earth. The combat’s simple but satisfying—you swing your flute like a weapon at first, which feels ridiculous until you realize it actually works.
What I love is how the game keeps throwing curveballs at you. One minute you’re exploring a creepy shipwreck, the next you’re turning into this glowing knight form that hits way harder. The towns have this weird, melancholy vibe, like everyone’s just waiting for the end of the world. And that soundtrack? Haunting in the best way.
It’s not perfect—some of the platforming bits are janky, and good luck figuring out where to go next without talking to every NPC twice. But there’s something about the atmosphere that makes it worth pushing through. You’ll probably finish it in a weekend if you get hooked.
