You start by delivering some dusty artifact, and next thing you know you're deciphering ancient puzzles while dodging goons—Sophia's either your brainy sidekick or you're winging it solo. That submarine puzzle still lives in my head rent-free.

Game Overview

I first played Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis back in the 90s on MS-DOS. It was developed and published by Lucasfilm Games, and it felt right at home among the point-and-click adventures of that era. The game came on CD, which was still a bit of a novelty at the time, and it made good use of the extra space with voice acting and richer visuals.

You control Indiana Jones, clicking to move him through detailed environments, picking up items, and solving puzzles. The main goal is to find the lost city of Atlantis before the Nazis do. You explore screen by screen, talk to characters, and combine objects in your inventory to progress. There are three distinct paths you can take, affecting how you approach puzzles and which characters assist you. The pacing is deliberate, with some tricky logic puzzles that require patience. Playing it feels like guiding Indy through one of his own adventures, full of discovery and occasional frustration.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
