Game Overview

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of those rare point-and-click adventures that actually makes you feel like you're part of the movie. You start off in Indy's office, casually flipping through files before getting dragged into a globetrotting hunt for Atlantis—complete with Nazis, ancient artifacts, and Sophia, this delightfully weird psychic ex-archaeologist who keeps stealing scenes.

The coolest part? You pick one of three paths early on—Team, Wits, or Fists—and it actually changes how you solve puzzles. I went Wits first time through and spent half an hour overthinking a museum heist before realizing I could've just punched a guy. Classic Indy.

It's got that perfect LucasArts humor too—try using your whip on everything just to hear the snarky responses. And if you play the CD version with voices, Indy sounds exactly like he should (though Sophia's accent wobbles between continents). The puzzles hold up surprisingly well, except maybe that one obnoxious machine in Atlantis that still gives me flashbacks.

Honestly, it's the Indy sequel we deserved but never got as a film. Just don't expect the Nazis to be good at keeping their hands off world-ending artifacts.
