Game Overview

This old-school MS-DOS gem throws you right into Indy’s boots—whip in hand, fedora slightly askew—as you chase down the Holy Grail. The first thing that hits you? Those caves under Colorado are way more claustrophobic than you’d think, with tight jumps and sneaky traps that’ll send you tumbling if you rush. The whip feels great when you nail the timing, though smacking Nazis never gets old.

Things get wild fast—next thing you know, you’re dodging circus train hazards (why are there so many spinning blades?), then creeping through Venetian catacombs that look like they’re held together by cobwebs. The Zeppelin level’s a nightmare of ladders and guards who apparently don’t believe in coffee breaks. And yeah, the final Grail temple? Classic Indy puzzles, complete with that “choose wisely” moment—just don’t let your dad croak before you get there.

It’s janky in that late-80s way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about figuring out the alternate routes and surviving the janky combat. You’ll curse the controls at least twice per level, but you’ll keep going anyway.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
