Play Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures (Europe) Online

Whip snakes, dodge boulders, and punch Nazis across all three Indy films—just be ready for some clunky platforming between those great movie moments. The minecart chase still feels wild, even if the controls fight you sometimes.

Game Overview

Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures is basically a SNES love letter to the original trilogy—Raiders, Temple of Doom, and Last Crusade all smashed into one chunky 16-bit platformer. You start off in the Raiders section, whipping snakes in the jungle and barely making it out of that iconic boulder chase (spoiler: it's way harder with SNES controls). The whip feels good once you get the timing down, though I kept accidentally throwing grenades when I meant to shoot.

Temple of Doom's minecart level is just as chaotic as you'd hope, and punching Nazis in Last Crusade never gets old. Some of the platforming is janky by modern standards, but there's something charming about how faithfully it recreates scenes like the tank battle or the rope bridge. Just don't expect the whip to work like a grappling hook—this is pure old-school "memorize the jumps or die" energy.

It's one of those games where the nostalgia hits harder than the gameplay, but man, that title screen music still gives me chills.
