Game Overview

Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is this weirdly charming Amiga game where you play as two cavemen who somehow became ninjas. You jump around prehistoric levels clubbing dinosaurs and rival tribes with whatever you can find—bones, boomerangs, even flaming torches. The controls are simple, but some of those projectile throws take practice to aim right.

Your goal? Rescue a bunch of kidnapped cavewomen from the enemy tribe, which sounds ridiculous but totally fits the game’s goofy vibe. The levels get progressively harder, with more enemies and obstacles, but the weapons keep things interesting. Stone wheels are weirdly satisfying to throw, by the way.

It’s one of those games that feels both dated and oddly fun once you get into it. Just don’t expect deep storytelling—it’s all about smashing things as a caveman ninja.
