Game Overview

If you've ever wanted to pilot a Gundam and throw down in chaotic 2v2 battles, this PSP game absolutely delivers. The roster pulls from pretty much every Gundam series up to that point, so you'll see classic RX-78s duking it out with Seed and Wing units. The controls take a minute to get used to—boosting while managing your beam saber feels awkward at first—but once it clicks, the fights get intense fast.

What surprised me was how different each mobile suit handles. Some are tanky brawlers, others are fragile snipers, and a few just zip around like angry hornets. The stages are destructible too, so you're constantly dodging collapsing buildings or using them as cover. It's the kind of game where you'll lose track of time trying "just one more match" to get revenge on that jerk with the Freedom Gundam.

Local multiplayer is where it really shines, though. Nothing beats teaming up with a friend and yelling at each other when someone steals your kill.
