King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella came out in 1988 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Sierra On-Line. It was part of that era where adventure games were really finding their footing on home computers, with detailed graphics and a focus on story that felt ambitious at the time.
You play as Princess Rosella, exploring a fantasy world screen by screen, solving puzzles, and collecting items to save both your father and a cursed fairyland.
