Play Klax (Japan) on sega Online
You're catching colored tiles off a speeding conveyor belt, stacking them just right before they topple—until the game laughs and cranks up the speed. Those blocks fight you the whole way.

Game Overview
Klax on the Genesis is one of those puzzle games that looks simple at first—just line up colored tiles rolling toward you—but gets brutal fast. You're standing at the bottom of this conveyor belt, frantically catching and stacking blocks before they tumble off the edge, trying to match three or more of the same color in rows, diagonals, whatever. The tiles have this weird weight to them, like they're actively resisting your attempts to organize them.
At first, it feels manageable, almost relaxing. Then around level 10, the speed picks up, and suddenly you're sweating, juggling neon pinks and yellows while the conveyor belt spits them out faster than you can think. The music’s got this weirdly intense vibe too, like it’s cheering on your impending failure. I lost way too many rounds because I panicked and stacked a green tile in the wrong spot.
It’s the kind of game where you swear you’ll stop after one round, and then an hour later you’re still muttering "just one more try" under your breath. The Japanese version doesn’t change much, but something about those bright, chunky pixels hits different on a CRT.
