Game Overview

Laser Blast is one of those classic Atari 2600 games that looks simple but gets intense fast. You're piloting this little spaceship, zapping enemy tanks and ships crawling across the ground—except they shoot back, and they don't miss often. The first few waves feel manageable, but then suddenly you're dodging three lasers at once while trying to line up your own shots.

What I love is that even when you get hit, you're not totally out—your ship spirals down, and if you're quick, you can kamikaze into one last enemy. It's pure 80s arcade chaos: no fancy power-ups, just you, a laser, and increasingly angry pixel tanks. The scoring's straightforward (more kills = higher score), but good luck surviving long enough to brag about it.

Fair warning: after a while, your thumb might hate you from hammering that fire button.
