Play Tetris Blast Online
Tetris but with bombs—stack blocks like normal, then watch whole chunks vanish when you trigger an explosion. Messy, chaotic, and weirdly satisfying when you pull off a big chain reaction.

Tetris Blast came out for the Game Boy in 1996, developed by Bullet-Proof Software. It was one of those mid-90s puzzle games that tried to twist the familiar Tetris formula into something new, arriving at a time when the handheld was still packed with straightforward, pick-up-and-play titles. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave it some spikes.
You control the falling blocks, but many of them contain bombs instead of solid colors. Your main goal is still to clear lines, but now you do it by detonating these bomb blocks, which can set off chain reactions and wipe out huge sections of the stack. The game is played screen by screen, with each level presenting a pre-built puzzle of blocks you need to clear with a limited number of new pieces. The pacing is deliberate, more about planning your explosions than reacting at high speed. It feels like solving a miniature demolition puzzle with every move.
