So, Tetris Plus on Game Boy—it's Tetris, but with a few twists. You've got the classic mode if you just want to drop blocks like always, but the real fun is in Puzzle mode. There's this little professor guy climbing up the screen, and you've gotta clear a path for him by strategically breaking lines. It's weirdly satisfying when you pull it off, but man, he moves fast if you take too long.
Versus mode is exactly what it sounds like—throw down against a friend and see who cracks first. And if you're feeling creative, Edit mode lets you build your own nightmare puzzles. Some of the pre-made ones are brutal enough, though. The blocks still feel like Tetris, but the extra modes give it a fresh spin without messing with the core.
Definitely one of the more interesting takes on Tetris from back then.
