Super Tetris 3 on SNES is way more than just another Tetris clone—it’s like four games in one. You’ve got the classic mode (obviously), but the real surprises are the other three. Familiss lets you cram four players onto one screen, which gets chaotic fast. Sparkliss feels like Bombliss from Super Tetris 2, but with a fantasy twist—blocks explode in weird patterns, and there’s a puzzle mode that’ll make your brain hurt in the best way.
Then there’s Magicaliss, the weirdest and most fun of the bunch. Blocks come in different colors, and rotating them changes the shade. Clear a line of one color, and every matching block on the screen vanishes. Grey blocks are stubborn—they only change color when you clear a solid line, and rainbow pieces act like wildcards. It sounds complicated, but after a few tries, you start seeing combos everywhere.
Most modes support two-player battles, too. Honestly, Magicaliss alone makes this worth digging out of the SNES library.
