Super Tetris 3 is one of those weird, Japan-only SNES sequels that throws in a bunch of modes you’ve never heard of. Yeah, there’s standard Tetris if you just want to zone out stacking blocks, but then you’ve got Magicaliss where the pieces float around like they’re haunted, Sparkliss with these flashy chain reactions, and Famliss—which I still don’t fully get, but it’s got this weird family theme going on. The music’s got that classic SNES charm, though some of the sound effects are… questionable. Honestly, half the fun is just seeing how bizarre some of these modes play compared to regular Tetris. It’s not essential, but if you’ve played the usual versions to death, this one’s a fun detour.
