Play Last Ninja 2 - Back with a Vengeance Online

You sneak through shadowy castles and dense forests, timing shuriken throws just right—mess up and those guards will wreck you fast. The isometric jumps feel janky at first, but nailing a perfect leap onto a rooftop never gets old.

Game Overview

Last Ninja 2 on MS-DOS is one of those games that just feels cool to play—even if you keep dying at first. You start off sneaking through feudal Japan with this killer synth track in the background, and within minutes you're either throwing shurikens at guards or getting wrecked by them because the combat's surprisingly deep for an old isometric game.

The levels are these sprawling, maze-like spaces where you’re constantly searching for hidden switches or figuring out which weapon actually works against certain enemies (spoiler: the nunchaku are weirdly OP). And yeah, the controls take some getting used to—this isn’t some modern twin-stick ninja sim—but once it clicks, pulling off a flawless stealth takedown or landing a perfect jump feels amazing.

Honestly, half the fun is just soaking in the vibe. The pixel art’s detailed, the music slaps, and there’s something hilarious about watching your ninja dramatically backflip off a bridge after misjudging a jump. If you’ve got patience for retro difficulty and love that ‘80s action-movie aesthetic, this one’s still a blast.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
