Game Overview

LEGO Indiana Jones on the DS is exactly what you'd hope for—a blocky, lighthearted take on the movies with that classic LEGO charm. You start off smashing crates as Indy (of course), then quickly realize half the fun is switching between characters to solve puzzles—like using Short Round to squeeze into tiny spaces or Sallah to dig up buried stuff.

The levels follow the films pretty closely, but with way more slapstick. Enemies just explode into piles of LEGO pieces when you hit them, and there's something weirdly satisfying about rebuilding random objects out of scattered bricks. The touch screen controls work surprisingly well for swinging whips and solving simple puzzles.

It's not super deep, but it's got that "just one more level" thing going where you keep spotting hidden treasures in the background. The DS version actually holds up better than you'd think for a handheld port.
