Play Lost Vikings, The (Europe) on sega Online

Switching between three Vikings—one sprints, one swings his sword wildly, and the other just holds up a shield—while aliens and bottomless pits try to ruin your day. Messy, hilarious, and weirdly satisfying when it all comes together.

Game Overview

Ever tried herding three Vikings with the collective attention span of a goldfish? The Lost Vikings on Sega Genesis throws you into exactly that mess—Erik sprints and jumps like he’s late for a mead sale, Baleog swings his sword at anything that moves (including, occasionally, the scenery), and Olaf just stands there holding up his shield like a confused bodyguard. You’ll be frantically switching between them to get past laser grids, bottomless pits, and aliens who clearly didn’t think their abduction plan through.

It’s one of those games where you’ll fail spectacularly at first—like sending Erik leaping to his doom because you forgot Olaf could’ve blocked the enemy fire. But when their skills finally click together? Pure Viking magic. Also, the dialogue’s full of dumb jokes that somehow still land. Blizzard made this before they were drowning in orcs and space marines, and you can tell they were just having fun.

Fair warning: You might yell at your screen when all three idiots get stuck in a corner. But you’ll keep playing anyway.
