Play Lost Vikings, The (Spain) Online

You juggle three vikings with dumb, specific skills—jumping, sword fights, blocking arrows—and somehow herd them through traps without getting anyone killed. That ice level where you ricochet off the shield still lives in my head rent-free.

Game Overview

Oh man, The Lost Vikings—this one takes me back. You're controlling three goofy Norse dudes (Erik the speedy one, Baleog who swings a sword, and Olaf with his shield) through these puzzle-platformer levels where you have to use their weird skills together. Like, Erik can jump gaps but can't fight, Baleog kills enemies but can't block arrows, and Olaf's shield is basically your only defense against some traps. Mess up the order and you're toast.

The sequel, Norse by Norse West, throws in even more chaos—time travel, new characters, and some levels that made me want to chuck my controller as a kid. Still, figuring out how to get all three idiots to the exit without getting squished or zapped is weirdly satisfying. That one ice level where you have to bounce Olaf's shield just right? Pure evil.

It's one of those games where you either love the janky teamwork or rage-quit by level 5. No in-between.
