Game Overview

Ever wanted to pull off those ridiculous, gravity-defying dunks you'd only see in 90s basketball highlights? Magic Johnson no Super Slam Dunk on SNES is basically that—a no-rules, arcadey take on hoops where the ball barely touches the floor. You pick a team (I always go for the neon-green jerseys), and suddenly everyone’s jumping like they’ve got springs in their sneakers.

It’s not NBA Jam, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about how over-the-top it is. The announcer yells in Japanese, the players move like they’re on fast-forward, and half the time you’re just mashing buttons to see what absurd dunk animation pops up. Definitely more of a "play for 20 minutes with a friend" kind of game than a deep sports sim, but that’s exactly why it’s still fun to boot up every now and then.

If you’ve got a soft spot for janky retro sports games, this one’s a blast from the past.
