MegaMan Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar is the last hurrah for the GBA series, and honestly? It’s one of the best. You’re back as Lan, running around the real world while MegaMan.EXE fights in cyberspace—except this time, there’s a rampaging digital beast called Falzar tearing everything apart. The battles are still that weird mix of real-time action and grid-based strategy, but now MegaMan can go full beast mode mid-fight, which looks ridiculous and feels amazing.

If you’ve played the others, you’ll recognize the style changes and chip combos, but everything’s smoother here. Newcomers might fumble a bit with the deck-building at first (why are there so many folder options?), but once you land your first Program Advance and wipe out three enemies at once, it clicks. The pixel art’s crisp, the music slaps, and the story’s just cheesy enough to work. It’s the kind of game where you mean to stop after one mission and suddenly it’s 2 AM.
