The battle system uses a grid-based field where you select attack chips in real time, and a key feature is the Beast Out transformation, letting MegaMan temporarily fuse with Falzar for immense power. Another mechanic involves using Cross Systems to adopt different elemental forms, adding strategic variety to fights. The pacing is brisk, with regular enemy encounters and boss fights that demand quick thinking; the difficulty can spike during certain sequences, especially when managing transformations under pressure.
