Game Overview

Mortal Kombat II on the Amiga is exactly as brutal as you remember—blood, uppercuts, and all. You pick your fighter (I always go with Sub-Zero for the ice blast) and jump into one-on-one battles against a roster that includes new faces like Baraka and Kung Lao. The controls feel a little stiff compared to arcade versions, but you’ve still got all the classic moves: flying kicks, teleports, and those ridiculous fatalities that somehow never get old.

Shang Tsung’s running the show again, and you’ll have to fight through every other character before taking on the big bosses—Kintaro is a nightmare if you don’t spam projectiles. The two-player mode is where it really shines, especially when you both pick Scorpion and spend the whole match yelling "GET OVER HERE!" at each other. Just don’t expect the SNES version’s toned-down visuals—this one’s got all the gore intact.
