Game Overview

Mystic Warriors is this rad arcade side-scroller where you play as one of five ninjas tearing through a grimy future New York. It feels a lot like Sunset Riders—same energy, same satisfying jumps between platforms—but with way more throwing stars and daggers flying everywhere. I usually go for Kojiro because his moves feel slick, but Yuri (the only girl in the crew) has this killer slide attack.

You’re basically mowing down waves of Skull Enterprise goons, grabbing power-ups when they drop, and occasionally hitting weird little bonus stages like snowboarding down a slope while still fighting. The whole thing’s chaotic in the best way, especially when you’re dodging bullets and tossing shurikens at the same time. Definitely one of those games where you’ll restart immediately after dying because you just need one more shot at that boss.
