Play Dungeons and Dragons – Warriors of the Eternal Sun Online
You build a party of four, then crawl through Aztec ruins and floating castles where every turn-based fight feels tense—especially when your thief inevitably sets off another trap. The synth soundtrack and race-specific dialogue give it that proper D&D weirdness.

Dungeons and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun came out for the Sega Genesis in 1992, developed by Westwood Associates and published by Sega. It was one of the few attempts to bring a full D&D experience to consoles at the time, offering a proper party-based RPG when most action games dominated the platform.
You control a custom party of four adventurers, exploring a strange valley filled with Aztec-style ruins and mysterious dungeons screen by screen. The main goal is to uncover the secrets of the sunken world and survive its many threats. Combat is turn-based, requiring tactical positioning and careful use of spells, while navigation involves searching for hidden switches and managing light sources in dark areas. The game moves at a deliberate pace and can be quite punishing if you're unprepared. It feels like guiding your fragile party through a world that doesn't care if you make it out alive.
