Game Overview

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity is basically the "director’s cut" of the original PSP sequel—same core gameplay, but packed with extra goodies. You’ve got the original story mode, sure, but the real draw is the brand-new second episode following Nagisa (that swordswoman with serious attitude) and these creepy SEED-infected humans called Duman. It’s darker, weirder, and way more intense.

They didn’t just slap on a new story, though. Now you can call in your own leveled-up characters as backup during fights, which is awesome when you’re stuck. There’s also a ton of new gear to obsess over—I spent way too long mixing outfits—plus a Rebirth system that lets you reset your character for stat boosts. Oh, and missions? They added Infinity difficulty, which basically laughs at your overconfidence before crushing you. Good times.

If you liked the original, this is the version to play. Just don’t blame me when you lose hours tweaking your character’s stats.
