Pinball (JU) is one of those early NES games that feels simple but has its own weird charm. The table splits into two levels—if you lose the ball on the top half, it drops to the lower playfield instead of ending your turn immediately, which was a neat twist back then.

It’s janky by modern standards—the physics are stiff, and sometimes the ball just vanishes into places it shouldn’t. But there’s something satisfying about hitting the bonus round where Mario pops up, bouncing the ball to rescue Pauline. Feels like a weird little time capsule of early Nintendo experiments.

Not much depth, but it’s a decent time-waster if you’re into retro pinball. Just don’t expect flashy tables or deep mechanics.
