Game Overview
Pokémon DP Palkia (HMH) (K) is basically a tweaked version of Diamond/Pearl where Palkia gets thrown into the mix early—like, way earlier than it should be. You start off in Sinnoh like normal, but before you even hit the first gym, this legendary space dragon is just... there, waiting to wreck your sense of progression if you're not careful.
The game’s still the same DS Pokémon RPG at heart—catching monsters, grinding levels, dealing with Team Galactic’s nonsense—but now with the weird thrill (or horror) of having a level 50 Palkia before you’ve even beaten Roark. It’s fun if you want to steamroll the early game, though it kinda breaks the challenge unless you impose some rules on yourself. And yeah, the translation’s a little rough in spots, but hey, free legendary.
Honestly, half the fun is seeing how badly you can break the game before Cynthia finally puts you in your place.
