Two mechanics stand out: the day and night cycle affects which Pokemon appear in tall grass, and certain rare creatures can only be found through specific weather conditions or by solving environmental puzzles. The pacing is deliberate, with occasional difficulty spikes in trainer battles that require thoughtful team building. It feels like rediscovering an old favorite, familiar yet full of little surprises.
