Game Overview
Pokémon Furious Flames is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that actually feels like a proper, polished game—except everything’s on fire. Literally. Fire-types get ridiculous buffs here, and the first gym leader nearly wiped my team with a Charizard that somehow knew Solar Beam. Rude.
The world’s familiar but twisted just enough to keep you guessing—like finding a wild Houndoom in what should’ve been a low-level route. The beta’s still got some rough edges (occasional text glitches, one weirdly empty cave), but the new moves and tweaked Pokémon stats make battles way more chaotic in the best way. My advice? Bring a Water-type. Maybe three.
If you’ve burned through the official games and want something that doesn’t hold your hand, this’ll keep you busy until your SP’s battery dies.
