You control a trainer who explores a region filled with heavily modified maps and a roster of Pokemon that includes many custom or altered creatures. The main goal remains to collect badges and challenge the Elite Four, but the journey is defined by its unpredictable mechanics, such as navigating through areas with unusual tile sets and encountering Pokemon with moves or types not found in official games. The pacing is uneven due to its beta state, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in certain areas.
