Game Overview
Pokémon Platinum with Giratina is basically the definitive Sinnoh experience—if you’ve played Diamond or Pearl, this is that but better. The pacing’s smoother, the Pokédex is bigger, and Giratina’s Distortion World is this weird, gravity-defying dungeon that actually feels fresh compared to the usual caves and forests.
You start off in Twinleaf Town like usual, but little tweaks—like faster battles and the ability to rebattle gym leaders—make the grind way less tedious. And the Wi-Fi Plaza? Kinda janky now that the DS servers are gone, but trading and battling locally still works fine if you’ve got friends with copies.
Honestly, if you’re gonna play Sinnoh, skip Diamond/Pearl and go straight for this one.
