Game Overview
Pokémon Renegade Platinum takes the already-great Diamond and Pearl and cranks up the difficulty while fixing a bunch of little annoyances. The first thing you'll notice? Almost every Pokémon from Gen 1-4 is catchable in the wild now—no more waiting until postgame for that Gible you wanted. Gym leaders actually put up a fight with smarter AI and better teams, and even random trainers might surprise you with unexpected movesets.
They tweaked so many small things: HMs aren't as obnoxious, evolution methods got streamlined, and type matchups feel more balanced. I got wrecked by the first gym leader three times before I figured out a decent strategy—it's that kind of game. If you thought Platinum was too easy or just want to use Pokémon the original game locked away, this hack fixes both problems at once.
