Game Overview

Pokémon Sapphire 3 in 1 is one of those weird little GBA cartridges that somehow crams three full Pokémon games into one. You’ve got Sapphire, obviously—Hoenn’s tropical routes, Team Aqua’s nonsense, all that—but then it throws in two more, usually FireRed and Emerald. It’s the kind of thing you’d find in a sketchy flea market, but honestly? It works.

Starting up, it feels like regular Sapphire—same opening truck ride, same little tree-obsessed professor. But then you realize you can hop between games whenever, which is either genius or chaotic depending on how organized your brain is. I kept getting distracted trying to remember which save file had my half-trained Swampert.

The best part? No cartridge-swapping when you want to trade between versions. The worst part? Your internal clock might glitch if you’re not careful. Still, for a weird bootleg-ish experience, it’s weirdly polished. Just don’t expect official Nintendo packaging.
